Alamo Drafthouse brings back 'Jaws on the Water' summer screenings

As if the movie wasn’t scary enough, “Jaws on the Water” lets movie-goers watch the 1975 thriller from an inner tube.

AUSTIN, Texas — Alamo Drafthouse is celebrating summer by bringing back a special, scream-inducing screening of “Jaws.”

As if the movie wasn’t scary enough, “Jaws on the Water” lets movie-goers watch the 1975 thriller from an inner tube.

Rolling Roadshow first hosted the event in 2002 and brought the event back in 2015 for the film’s 40th anniversary. It’s now in its fifth year.

The event will take place on select Saturdays in June, July and August at the Volente Beach Resort on the shores of Lake Travis. Inner tubes are available for rent or purchase, or you can bring your own.
