AUSTIN — Spirit of Texas distillery in Pflugerville turns out some of the top rum and whiskey in the state of Texas.
Head distiller and president Shaun Siems is a former engineer who started the distillery 10 years ago.
Since then, they've perfected their craft and now deliver award-winning spirits to locations throughout the state.
Spirit of Texas is unique in that they use Texas pecans as a flavoring, which gives the rum a distinct Texas taste.
Not only is Spirit of Texas a top rate distillery, they also have a top of the line tasting room where you can sample their spirits in several unique mixed drink recipes.
