Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced Wednesday he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $670.9 million in local sales tax allocations for March, which was 8.3 percent more than March 2017.

The monetary amount distributed was determined by sales in January by businesses which report tax monthly.

The breakdown of monetary allocation can be seen in the figure below:
