SAN MARCOS, Texas — Police are searching for three suspects after a man was reportedly shot during a robbery at a San Marcos apartment complex Thursday morning.
Police responded to a shots fired call at 12:22 a.m. at the Lodge Apartments located at 1975 Aquarena Springs Drive, according to officials.
Police said when they arrived, they heard screaming coming from the apartment building and found a man in a pool of blood.
Witnesses reportedly told police that three black men knocked on the door, entered the apartment and demanded everyone to get on the floor. Witnesses said at least two of them men were armed with handguns, according to police.
The three suspects allegedly demanded drugs and money from the victim when one of the suspects fired shots at the victim. The suspects then allegedly left the scene.
According to police, the victim was shot multiple times and was transported to the hospital. The victim is reportedly in stable condition as of Thursday afternoon.
