AUSTIN -- It was a hopping day at the Austin Animal Center.
The AAC hosted an adoption "EGGstravaganza" this weekend that will run through Monday. Those looking to bring home a furry friend this Easter season will get a discount.
With the recent weather, the AAC reports they've seen an influx of dogs arriving at the shelter.
"When you adopt you get to pick a little egg and inside is the adoption fee," Austin Animal Center's Sharon Nichols said.
The AAC adoption fee is normally $75.
