The Austin Police Operation Blue Santa needs volunteers to help deliver packages to families and children starting at 8 a.m. Saturday.

AUSTIN — If you'd like to spread some Christmas cheer this holiday season, do so by delivering presents to families and children in need this Saturday.

The Austin Police Operation Blue Santa needs volunteers to help deliver packages to families starting at 8 a.m.

There's no need to sign up. Just volunteer by showing up to the Blue Santa headquarters located at 4101 South Industrial Drive in Suite 260.

Austin police, fire chiefs race to snag toys for families

Packages will be loaded into vehicles and delivery addresses will be provided.

Volunteers are also needed to deliver packages at the secondary sites on the same day:

  • Robert T. Martinez Sr. Central East Substation-812 Springdale Road
  • Jaime Padron North Substation-12425 Lamplight Village Ave.
  • Clinton Hunter South Substation-404 Ralph Ablanedo Dr.
