AUSTIN — The body that was found in a downtown Austin creek Wednesday afternoon has been identified by authorities.
Austin police said Friday the person -- identified as 61-year-old Jerry Perry -- who was found in the 600 block of Sabine near Waller Creek died from an accidental death.
Austin police said the body was found between Sixth and Seventh Street.
