The Bastrop County Animal Shelter is offering half-price adoptions through next weekend on all animals.
The shelter said Saturday that they are over capacity and working to clear up some space.
With the discount, dogs are currently available for $37.50 and cats for $22.50.
They are located at 589 Cool Water Dr in Bastrop and will be open from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday, then open from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
