AUSTIN — A body was found Saturday evening during the annual Eeyore's Birthday Party event, police said.
Police received the call about a body found in the 2300 block of North Lamar Blvd at approximately 5:47 p.m.
The Austin Police Department said the body appears to have been at Pease Park for a long time.
Officers told KVUE they do not believe the death is suspicious and no foul play was suspected. APD said it believes the victim is a man, but cannot determine the victim's age.
APD's Homicide Unit is investigating the incident.
No further details were immediately available.
