Credit card skimmers found at two different Austin gas stations in two days

Two skimmers were reported to the Texas Department of Agriculture in Austin over the span of two days.

AUSTIN — Two credit card skimmers were found at two different gas stations over the span of two days, according to the Texas Department of Agriculture.

In both instances, the TDA said they received complaints before they found skimmers at the two gas stations.

On Thursday, Dec. 6, a skimmer was found at pump 16 at the 7-Eleven located at 9061 Research Blvd. Officials said this locations has been reported for previous skimmer alerts.

On Friday, the TDA received a complaint of a possible Bluetooth skimmer at the Yager Food Store located at 1006 E. Yager Lane. A skimmer was found at pump four, the TDA said.
