For more than a week, KVUE has monitored an investigation involving hazing allegations at Lake Travis High School.
KVUE learned Friday the case has been closed, and the allegations have been deemed unfounded.
According to Travis County District Attorney Margaret Moore, a thorough investigation was conducted that included multiple interviews.
Moore released this statement to KVUE on Friday:
"This is a situation where over-reaction and rumor mongering got out of control. A lot of time and effort went into looking into it, and we are satisfied that no criminal charges should be brought."
