WILLIAMSON COUNTY — The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is working a fatal single-vehicle crash near the intersection of FM 1331 and FM 619, just north of Taylor, according to county officials.
WCSO said a preliminary investigation showed the victim might have had a medical episode that caused the crash, but is still being investigated. DPS officials told KVUE they believe the victim died before the crash happened.
DPS said they received the call regarding the crash at approximately 3:49 p.m. Friday.
DPS said it was investigating the elements of the crash itself while the Williamson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the victim's death.
County officials said there were not any lanes blocked but to approach the area with caution.
