Southbound I-35 lanes closed at Airport Blvd. after multi-vehicle crash, TxDOT says

Austin-Travis County EMS said multiple patients are being evaluated and that two patients have been declared as trauma alerts. The crash happened in the 4500 block of North I-35.

AUSTIN — The southbound I-35 lanes near Airport Boulevard in Austin have shut down due to a crash involving multiple vehicles, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. The crash happened in the 4500 block of North I-35.

Austin-Travis County EMS said a total of nine patients were evaluated and three were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center. One man suffered critical, life-threatening injuries, another man suffered serious, non life-threatening injuries and one woman suffered non life-threatening injuries, ATCEMS said.
