A local Subway was robbed Tuesday evening, according Austin police.
APD responded to an armed robbery call at 9:42 p.m. Tuesday at a Subway restaurant, located at 2323 San Antonio St. near the University of Texas campus.
Police said the suspect showed a weapon but did not take it out. The suspect was described as a black man in his 30s.
UT Austin Police tweeted that witnesses said the suspect was seen running southbound on San Antonio Street.
No reported injuries were reported.
