AUSTIN-- If you commute on Mopac, the westbound lanes of Westover Road and Northwood are expected to be closed starting Monday.
This is happening near Mopac and drivers will have to use the eastbound lanes, which will be converted into two-way traffic.
And on Thursday, the eastbound lanes are expected to shut down, so drivers will have to use the westbound lanes.
All the closures will allow crews to reconstruct the asphalt pavement.
The work isn't expected to be done until Sunday.
As if the extra South-by traffic isn't enough, you're going to have slowdown even more.
