AUSTIN — In the race for the U.S. Senate in Texas, Incumbent Republican Sen. Ted Cruz and U.S. Rep. Beto O'Rourke are set to face off in their last scheduled debate in San Antonio, Texas Tuesday, Oct. 16.

The debate begins at 8 p.m. at KENS, the CBS-affiliate in San Antonio, and will be broadcast across Texas through TEGNA Inc.-- KVUE and KENS' parent company. The debate will air live on KVUE's on-air and digital platforms.
Cruz and O'Rourke debated for the first time in Dallas, Texas on Friday, Sept. 21. During the 60-minute debate, the two candidates clashed on topics about domestic policy, immigration and guns. Their second scheduled debate was canceled amid Senate votes for the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the U.S.
