It's been a warm and breezy Friday across Central Texas, and we expect fairly similar conditions through the Easter weekend. It won't be quite as windy, but a south wind continues to bring up warmth and humidity. Expect a mostly cloudy sky for Easter Sunday with a high near 84 degrees.
A storm chance moves in early next week for Monday night. A few of these storms could be severe. In fact, the severe weather risk has now expanded to include the northern half of the KVUE area. We'll know more about the specifics over the weekend, but a few strong storms capable of hail or wind look possible.
Ahead of the storm chance Monday will be warm with some spots close to 90, and then temperatures drop into the 70s behind the frontal system for the middle and end of next week.
