A headstone has been installed at the gravesite of Chris Kyle, the Navy SEAL marksman who was killed in 2013.
Texas State Cemetery posted on Facebook Friday a picture of Kyle’s headstone. A raised portrait of the “American Sniper” is on the left with his dates of birth and death and the phrase “The Legend.” Chris’ wife’s name Taya and three sets of handprints are on the right with the phrase “We hold you in our hearts.”
Kyle and fellow serviceman Chad Littlefield were shot and killed by Eddie Ray Routh at an Erath County gun range in February 2013. Routh was found guilty in the slayings in 2015 and sentenced to life in prison.
