SPRING, Texas — A man was arrested after he pistol-whipped a person and fired the weapon toward two other people at Hooks Airport Thursday, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said on X that a man used a gun to hit a Federal Aviation Administration employee.
The man then fired the weapon at two other people who were working on a tower, Gonzalez said.
The man fled and was later arrested at a residence, Gonzalez said.
The FAA employee was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. No one else was hurt in the incident.
David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport is near FM 2920 and Stuebner Airline Road, just south of Highway 99 in Spring.
