AUSTIN, Texas — Editor's note: While freezing temperatures continue throughout Central Texas, there is no longer any precipitation in our forecast. Therefore, this blog will no longer be updated due to improved road conditions.
As freezing temperatures continue and ice begins to accumulate in some parts of Central Texas, KVUE is continuing to monitor road conditions and crashes.
While traffic is expected to be light Monday due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday, it's important that drivers continue to stay aware and drive slowly and carefully.
Below is a breakdown of some of the crash and road condition reports KVUE has received Monday:
11 a.m. – The Williamson County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) says there were multiple collisions on Toll 130 southbound between Interstate 35 and Chandler Road, including a collision involving an 18-wheeler that slid over and struck multiple cars just south of Patriot Way.
The WCSO said repairs would need to be made to Toll Road 130 before it could reopen, but the roadway reopened shortly after.
9:09 a.m. – Round Rock police say patches of ice have been reported throughout the area.
8:57 a.m. – Austin-Travis County EMS reports that its medics have responded to four rollover collisions in about the last hour.
8:15 a.m. – Cedar Park police officers report spots of icy conditions on the toll road. Officers are also responding to several crashes.
7:45 a.m. – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) reports that State Highway 130 southbound at I-35 is closed at the toll road due to hazardous conditions in Georgetown.
At around 8:30 a.m., TxDOT reports that all lanes of southbound SH 130 near Patriot Way are closed due to the crash. Shortly after, the City of Georgetown confirms that the southbound lanes of 130 at the I-35 exit and southbound entrance ramps are closed due to a multi-vehicle incident at Patriot Way.
The City says southbound traffic should use I-35 rather than SH 130 at this time.

7:30 a.m. – KVUE's assistant news director reports a crash at McNeil Driver and Parmer Lane. Southbound Parmer is blocked in the area, and the lights were flashing red at McNeil and US 183.
7:15 a.m. – KVUE traffic cameras east of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport show ice accumulation on SH 71 at the State Highway 130 toll road in the Del Valle area.
7:11 a.m. – KVUE's Hannah Rucker reports that a portion of the State Highway 71 eastbound service road at FM 20 in Bastrop is closed because of a crash involving an 18-wheeler and a Jeep.
6:40 a.m. – Lago Vista police report ice on all bridges and going west on FM 1431. Police say that drivers traveling on eastbound FM 1431 drive with caution and that TxDOT has sanded westbound FM 1431 from Marble Falls at Cow Creek.
6 a.m. – KVUE crews report an incident at the US 183 ramp at MoPac. While the details of the incident are unclear, a KVUE photographer reported that it appeared that a tow truck was picking up a disabled vehicle.
Officials say anyone who can stay home during this winter weather should do so. However, if you must drive, please slow down, watch for road hazards, increase the following distance between yourself and other drivers and avoid slamming on your brakes.
You can also check highway conditions using TxDOT's Drive Texas map. If you find yourself stranded and you don't have AAA, you can call the Texas Department of Public Safety's Stranded Motorist Hotline at 1-800-525-5555.
