AUSTIN, Texas — First responders are on the scene of a "major collision" involving a semi-truck on Interstate 35 near Downtown Austin.
Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) said at around 11:15 a.m. Friday that its medics, as well as Austin Fire Department crews, are responding to the multi-vehicle crash on South I-35 northbound.
ATCEMS reports 13 people involved in the crash, including nine who need to be taken to a hospital.
Drivers should expect delays in the area.
