KVUE announces new marketing director

AUSTIN, Texas — KVUE is happy to announce that Enrico Meyer will soon serve as the new marketing director.

Meyer is already of a member of TEGNA, KVUE’s parent company. He comes to KVUE from its sister station, KUSA in Denver, Colorado, where he previously served as the creative director, producer and photographer in the marketing department. During his time there, he helped collaborate and lead integrated marketing solutions, station image campaigns and creative solutions for clients.

Meyer was also honored with two Heartland Regional Emmy awards, several Colorado Broadcasters Association awards and a Silver Promax BDA award, recognizing his work in storytelling, production and public service announcements.

As a creative director, Meyer was also chosen as part of the inaugural class for the TEGNA Leadership Program, designed to help grow and develop leaders in the company.

Before joining the marketing team, he spent nine years as a photojournalist with WDAY-TV in Fargo, North Dakota, WIS-TV in Columbia, South Carolina, and WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina, before moving to Denver to work as a photojournalist.

During his time in Denver he covered historic flooding, the Aurora Theater shooting, several large wildfires and some memorable seasons with the Denver Broncos.

Meyer is originally from a small town in Central Minnesota and graduated from Minnesota State University – Moorhead in 2006, with a B.S. in Mass Communications.

When not working, he enjoys traveling with his girlfriend, spending time outdoors, cooking, playing tennis and expanding his vinyl collection.
