Adam Bennett is an Emmy and Murrow Award-winning Multiskilled Journalist and Weekend Anchor at KVUE.
Adam came to KVUE after nearly a decade of experience as a reporter in Houston, Texas with KHOU. A proud native Texan and graduate of the University of Texas, Adam started his career in Amarillo, Texas before working three years as a reporter previously in Austin.
Adam's coverage focus has been Texas politics. He's covered political stories that impact Central Texans such as the criminal charges and impeachment trial of Attorney General Ken Paxton. Adam has also covered some of the biggest stories in Texas over the past decade, including the impact and aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas and the police investigation.
You can mainly find Adam outdoors, biking and hiking trails all over Central Texas. He loves live music and he is constantly working toward fluency in Spanish.
