AUSTIN, Texas — Rob Evans joined the Daybreak team in June 2021, anchoring alongside Yvonne Nava, and reuniting with Meteorologist Mariel Ruiz – the two worked together on the morning show in Little Rock, Arkansas, at KVUE's sister station, THV11.
He specializes in all things "handyman" and loves to build things, but he'll be the first to admit he'll break a lot of things on accident before he's able to fix anything.
Before Little Rock, Rob anchored the morning show in Fort Myers, Florida, anchored sports then news in Springfield, Missouri, and in Medford, Oregon.
A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Rob is a Tigers fan. As a St. Louis native, he’s also a die-hard Cardinals and Blues fan. He's also a Rams fan, despite leaving for L.A.
But he actually says he’s the biggest fan of his two kids, Carley and Kason.
