Eagles announce stop at Austin's Moody Center for 'The Long Goodbye' Tour

Tickets for the Feb. 2 concert are scheduled to go on sale to the general public on Nov. 3.

AUSTIN, Texas — A classic rock powerhouse will be performing in Austin early next year.

The Eagles have announced a stop at Austin's Moody Center for Feb. 2, 2024, with fellow soft rock band Steely Dan serving as the opening act.

The Eagles are currently made up of Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, the son of longtime member Glenn Frey. Touring for more than 50 years, the band has performed more than 1,000 concerts, selling more than 15 million tickets.

The tour is expected to extend into 2025.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale Nov. 1, while general on-sale tickets go on sale Nov. 3.
