Here is a list of just some of the Central Texas egg hunt festivities planned for this weekend.

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — Easter is almost here, and with it comes an increase in jelly beans, chocolate and, of course, colorful eggs.

This year, organizations across Central Texas are hosting free Easter egg hunts throughout the weekend.

Thursday, March 28

Flashlight Egg Hunt at Old Settlers Park

When: 6 to 10 p.m.

Friday, March, 29

Lake Creek Easter Egg Hunt 2024 at Pinballz Lake Creek

When: 11 a.m.

Annual Easter Egg Dye-O-Rama at the Neill-Cochran House Museum

When: 12 to 4 p.m. March 29
Where: 2310 San Gabriel St. in Austin

Adult Easter Egg Hunt (18 and older) at Pinballz Lake Creek

When: 8 p.m.

Fareground's Third Annual Easter Eggstravaganza at Fareground Austin

When: 12 p.m.

Second annual Eggstraordinary Easter Event at the North Austin YMCA

When: 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Where: 1000 W. Rundberg Lane in Austin

10th Annual Egg Hunt, Duck Derby, & Spring Market Day at Healing with Horses Ranch

When: 1 to 4 p.m.

When: 12:15 p.m. for 0-5 years old and 12:30 p.m. for 6 years old and older

Adult Easter Egg Hunt at Blue Owl Brewing

When: 1 p.m.
Where: 2400 E. Cesar Chaves St., #300 in Austin

Eggstravaganza at Lakeway City Park

When: 2 to 4 p.m.

2024 Sweet Eats Easter Egg Hunts at Sweet Eats Fruit Farm

When: Quiet hunt at 9:30 a.m., followed by hunts every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from March 29-31 and an adult egg hunt at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 30
Where: 14400 E. State Highway 29 in Georgetown

Egg hunters can expect a warm and sunny forecast throughout the weekend.
