AUSTIN, Texas — One of the 1990s' more prominent alt-rock bands is coming to Austin later this year.
Incubus will be performing at Moody Center on Sept. 7, as part of their upcoming tour. The concert will feature the band performing their 2001 double platinum album "Morning View" in its entirety, along with other hit songs. They will be supported by fellow 1990s band Coheed and Cambria.
The venue presale begins Thursday, Feb. 8, at 10 a.m. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 9.
Incubus was founded in 1991 in Southern California and rose to prominence in the late 1990s when their hit song "Drive" reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Billboard U.S. Alternative Airplay and Modern Rock charts. "Modern View," the focal point of this tour, became a hit with singles like "Wish You Were Here" and "Nice to Know You." The album reached certified platinum status in December 2001.
