AUSTIN, Texas — Country singer and Texas native Kacey Musgraves is returning to her home state this year on her 2024 world tour.
At 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 26 and 27, the Grammy Award-winning performer will hit the stage at Austin's Moody Center as part of her "Deeper Well World Tour."
Musgraves will perform her hits and songs from her new album, "Deeper Well," which is set to be released on March 15. For her Austin shows, Musgraves will welcome indie rock band Lord Huron and bluegrass band Nickel Creek as her opening acts.
Presale tickets for the Nov. 26, show will be available online from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, with the access code JADEGREEN. Tickets for the Nov. 27 performance will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 8.
Musgraves released the music video for the title track from her new record on Feb. 8. It already has more than 1 million views.
Musgraves' album history
"Deeper Well" will be Musgraves' sixth album. Her first album, "Same Trailer Different Park," was released in 2013.
Since then, the Golden, Texas, native has released "Pageant Material," "A Very Kacey Christmas," "Golden Hour" and her most recent album, "Star-Crossed," which came out in 2021.
Other stops on the 'Deeper Well' tour
Musgraves will start her Deeper Well World Tour overseas in late April, with stops across Europe, including in Ireland, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Belgium.
After a summertime break, she'll kick of the U.S. leg of her world tour in September with a stop in State College, Pennsylvania. In addition to her stops in Austin, Musgraves will also stop in other major Texas cities, with one show scheduled in Houston and two scheduled in Dallas.
