AUSTIN – The Circuit of the Americas announced Friday evening it will close some of its lots for Saturday only.
COTA said in a release it will offer a free shuttle from the Austin Convention Center for those who pre-paid to park in lots G, L and N. Any parking pass will grant four people to ride the shuttle for free.
Lot F will remain open, but people are encouraged to use the downtown shuttle. Those with passes in Lot E will be directed to Lot F.
Permit holders for Lot T are advised to use Lot Q, about 1.5 miles east of COTA along FM 812.
People with 973 pre-paid permits should use the paved lots at Southeast Metropolitan Park or Del Valle High School.
Lots A, B, C, D and H are paved and will remain open for pre-paid permits only.
People taking the shuttle from downtown will be dropped off at the Grand Plaza.
