AUSTIN, Texas — It's almost time for a yearly Austin tradition: fleeing the summer heat for the cool darkness of the Paramount Theatre.
For 50 years, the historic theater has hosted its "Summer Classic Film Series," a stacked, near-daily program of big blockbusters, Old Hollywood staples, heartwarming family films and cult classics.
