AUSTIN, Texas — With the final season of "Game of Thrones" approaching this April, fans of the epic HBO series have been desperately waiting to find out if the show will be making yet another interactive appearance at the 2019 SXSW festival.

The wait is over and, this year, all men must bleed.

That's right, in true "Game of Thrones" fashion, to participate in this year's activation fans will literally have to bleed.

HBO announced it is partnering with The American Red Cross for its "Bleed for the Throne" interactive installation, which features an immersive experience inspired by iconic characters and moments from the series.

"Guests will walk in the steps of those who bled and relive their sacrifices," said event planners. "Those who earn an audience before the Iron Throne will be recognized and rewarded for their bravery."

Event goers will be able to register online with or without giving blood. Registering for either option will secure your attendance at the "Bleed for the Throne" experience.

"They all bled for the throne," said HBO in a promotional teaser for the event featuring characters both past and present like Ned, Catelyn, Ygritte, Cersei, Tyrion and Arya. "Will you?"
