UT's SEC Celebration

To mark the school's official entry into the Southeast Conference (SEC), the University of Texas and Texas Athletics have planned a free, all-day event on Sunday across the Forty Acres.

The "SEC Celebration" will include interactive games, a Ferris wheel, Texas x SEC co-branded merchandise, photo ops, live music – including a headlining set by Pitbull – and much more.

While most events are planned either near the Main Mall or on 21st Street, the fun isn't limited to those spots. There will also be free activities for fans to enjoy at UT's museums and centers – including the Blanton Museum of Art, LBJ Presidential Library and Texas Science & Natural History Museum – from 1 to 5 p.m.

When: Sunday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: across the Forty Acres, but primarily near the UT Tower
