AUSTIN, Texas — The weekend is upon us and, as always, there are a ton of things going on in the Austin area! From a holiday concert to holiday markets, there's no shortage of fun activities happening over the next few days.
Here’s a breakdown of just some of the events you can attend this weekend.
"White Christmas" at the Paramount Theatre
It doesn't get much cozier than catching a holiday classic in a historic theater.
On Thursday, as part of its slate of seasonal screenings, the Paramount Theatre will be showing the iconic musical "White Christmas," starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen. Bonus: It's the film's 70th anniversary!
When: Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Paramount Theatre, located at 713 Congress Ave.
Austin Philharmonic Orchestra Winter Concert
On Sunday, music lovers can stop by the Bullock Texas State History Museum for a free holiday concert performed by the Austin Philharmonic Orchestra. The musicians will be planning favorite festive songs, including a Christmas sing-along and Hanukkah music.
When: Sunday at noon

Holiday markets featuring local creators
Still need to do some holiday shopping? You're in luck! There are a number of markets happening this weekend, featuring art and other wares made by local creators. Here are just some of the events happening over the next couple of days:
