AUSTIN, Texas — The weekend is here and, as always, there are a ton of things going on in the Austin area! From live music to litter cleanup, there's no shortage of fun activities happening over the next few days.
Here’s a breakdown of just some of the events you can attend this weekend.
The Texas Longhorns will take on Kansas State Saturday at 11 a.m. at Darrel K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. But don't worry if you didn't get tickets: you can still catch some live music before and after the game!
Austin's own Primo the Alien will perform at Longhorn City Limits on the LBJ lawn pregame at 9 a.m. Then indie electronic duo Matt and Kim will perform in the same place immediately after the game.

Día de los Muertos may have technically been earlier this week, but the celebration continues at Hotel Vegas and the Volstead Lounge this Saturday! The event will feature live music, a lineup of DJs, complimentary tacos with the purchase of a drink, a variety of vendors, a sugar skull decorating station and more.
Entry is free until 7 p.m.

This Saturday is the Austin Parks Foundation's biannual, community-led day of service, "It's My Park Day." Throughout the day, volunteers will work in Austin's parks and green spaces, cleaning up litter, managing invasive species, mulching trees and more. Learn about the effort.
