AUSTIN, Texas —
Which supernatural creature would most love a total solar eclipse? A vampire, of course!
That's why the Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park is hosting none other than Vampire Weekend for a special performance during the April 8 total solar eclipse.
The rock band will play the amphitheater starting at noon and Central Texas, including Austin, will be in the path of totality for the eclipse starting at 1:32 p.m.
The Moody Amphitheater said eclipse glasses will be provided at the show so concert-goers can stay safe while they rock out and experience the rare sky-watching event.
Tickets for the show go on sale 10 a.m. Feb. 13 at Ticketmaster.com.
'Only God was Above Us' tour
