It’s the end of the year, which means it’s time for end of year lists!

Since it’s getting colder outside and award season is right around the corner, now is a great time to catch up on some of the most talked about film and TV releases of 2018.

And you’re in luck because streaming and digital rentals make that easy!

For example, the two highest grossing films of the year, Marvel’s Infinity War and Black Panther, are on Netflix right now. Plus, two more of the highest grossing films, Incredibles 2 and Ant-Man and the Wasp, will be added by the end of January and the latest Star Wars flick, Solo: A Star Wars Story, will be added on Jan. 9.

Also on Netflix: recent buzzworthy releases Bird Box and Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, plus this summer's hit, To All the Boys I've Loved Before.

But Netflix isn’t the only place where you can stream some of the year’s top movies. HBO Now has the third installment of the Fifty Shades franchise, Fifty Shades Freed, plus other popular reboots and sequels like Tomb Raider, Pacific Rim Uprising and Paddington 2. You can also stream Steven Spielberg’s latest blockbuster, Ready Player One; Wes Anderson’s newest release, Isle of Dogs; and rom-com hit Love Simon. Plus, Ocean's 8 will be added on Jan. 12.

Meanwhile, Hulu has Boots Riley’s wild hit Sorry to Bother You, and Annihilation will be added on Jan. 5.

Still need something to watch? You can now rent a whole slew of other 2018 hits like A Quiet Place, Hereditary, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Crazy Rich Asians and A Star is Born. Or venture out and hit the movie theater to catch recent hits like Bohemian Rhapsody, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse or Mary Poppins Returns!

Finally, if you’re more of a TV binger than a cinephile, 2018 was also a banner year for great television! HBO has Sharp Objects and Barry. Netflix has Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Haunting of Hill House and Maniac, plus new seasons of fan favorites like Bojack Horseman and GLOW. Hulu has the latest season of its mega-hit The Handmaid’s Tale, plus BBC America’s huge hit Killing Eve. And Amazon Prime has a new season of its buzzy comedy The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
