Give your date a shout out on Alamo Drafthouse’s big screen this Valentine’s Day

The love note message to your date will air on the big screen before the film starts on Valentine's Day.

AUSTIN, Texas — Alamo Drafthouse is breaking its no-ad rule to help some important causes on Valentine's Day.

From now until Feb. 7, those who purchase advance tickets for Valentine's Day screenings will have the option to purchase a $5 love note.

Don't worry if you don't have a boo this time around – the love notes can be for anyone.

“These love notes aren't just for couples – last year one guy even sent a love note to himself," said Tim League, the founder and CEO of Alamo Drafthouse. “I’m happy we’re able to harness the power of love to help two very good causes.”

If you're wondering what films Alamo Drafthouse will be airing on this lovely holiday, their lineups don't disappoint.

Movies vary by location but include Crazy Rich Asians, Ghost, Phantom of the Opera, Boomerang, Wild at Heart, Pride and Prejudice and more.
