Scooby-Doo and the gang are coming to Austin for a haunted time

The Tavern will be hosting a murder mystery dinner show featuring the whole Scooby-Doo gang.

AUSTIN, Texas — The famous mystery-solving crew will be stopping by one of Austin's most haunted attractions starting this week!

"The Tavern," located on West 12th Steet, is a popular neighboorhood pub self-proclaimed as being "steeped in Austin lore."

The Austin pub will be hosting a murder mystery dinner show starting this week bringing Freddy, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and, of course, Scooby-Doo.

Rumors have it there's a ghost that has been wandering around the restaurant and the gang will need your help.

Guests get to be a part of a three-act murder mystery show that will have a different ending every night, leaving no two shows the same.

Although shows are through mid-November, tickets are selling fast and the first two shows are already sold-out.

Tickets will include a three-course meal but, unfortunately, "Scooby Snacks" will not be on the menu.

The Tavern asks: Will the ghost make an appearance? Will a group of plucky teenagers in a psychedelic van show up with their talking dog to unmask the ghost? Will somebody die?

Their answers to all of these questions are "yes, yes and yes."
