AUSTIN, Texas — If you feel like a break from film, technology and music next month, head on over to the events at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Comedy Festival.
The lineup includes Abbi Jacobson, Ilana Glazer, Busy Philipps, Horatio Sanz, Kathy Griffin, Roy Wood Jr., Tim Heidecker and more.
The comedy portion of the festival will feature events from the Upright Citizen’s Brigade and Comedy Central, which brings two showcases to the festival: one with the news team from “The Daily Show,” as well as a new stand-up and musical series entitled “The New Negroes with Baron Vaughn and Open Mike Eagle.”
The festival will kick off with James Adomian’s “Elon Musk Keynote: The Frightening and Awful Future of Humanity,” followed by the premiere of “Kathy Griffin: One Hell of a Story” and a conversation with the comedian about her now infamous photoshoot.
