ROUND ROCK, Texas -- One Round Rock business is embracing April Fool's Day this year.

Some residents woke up to an elaborate display of graffiti covering the IKEA off of Interstate 35. But what looked like vandalism was actually planned by the store to coincide with a new line of prints called "Ikea art event 2015" that debuts today.

The prints are limited edition, so there are only a limited number available.

Artists used chalk to mark up the front of the store, which surprised some employees who weren't even aware of the April Fools' stunt.

"We didn't tell anyone, it was a need-to-know basis as people [employees] are coming in they are totally surprised, and we hope the same thing happens with with our customers," said marketing employee Michelle Roebuck.

A team member at IKEA collaborated with the group SprATX to pull off the stunt. Their murals and exhibits often appear around Austin.
