AUSTIN -- The Austin Under 40 awards recognized the accomplishments of young people in Central Texas on Saturday night.
This year, they added a brand new category: Mentor of the Year.
The winner of the new award, Heather McKissick, joined KVUE on Sunday to talk about the new category and the importance of giving back.
