FORT WORTH, Texas — As Ricky Bobby put it: If you're not first, you're last.
And that sentiment apparently applies to getting your hands on a "Ricky Bobby" taco at the Torchy's Tacos location at Texas Motor Speedway.
Our partners at Austin 360 reported that the speedway's Torchy's has a one-of-a-kind taco dedicated to the 'Talladega Nights' character – but it sells out fast.
Austin 360 was tipped off to the taco's existence by a tweet from Fox 4's Shannon Murray. She tweeted that the taco was exclusive to the speedway, but she wasn't able to try one herself because Torchy's sold out.
It makes sense why. The taco is a behemoth, as jacked as any racecar. It features Fritos-coated fried chicken, refried beans, chorizo, bacon, green chiles, queso, pickled jalapenos, crushed chili cheese Fritos, sour cream, cheese and cilantro on a flour tortilla – all for $10.
And the "Ricky Bobby" isn't Torchy's only location-specific taco. The Astros Minute Maid Park location has the ".45 Express," which features a deep-fried, corn-tortilla-wrapped Nolan Ryan hot dog topped with hot Cheetos, Green Chile Queso, cheese, pico de gallo, pickled jalapenos, tortilla strips and cilantro on a flour tortilla.
Taco 'bout knocking it out of the park!
