Give back before the holidays at 'Family Volunteer Day' in Round Rock

The volunteer day will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

ROUND ROCK, Texas — Editor's note: The video attached was published for a similar story published in August 2019. 

The Volunteer Center, a program of the Round Rock Area Serving Center, has space for their Family Volunteer Day being held Saturday, Nov. 23.

The Round Rock Area Center is a nonprofit that carries out a community-wide mission of churches, other organizations and individuals serving human needs in the city of Round Rock and its surrounding areas.

Family Volunteer Day will be held at the Allen R. Baca Center in the Grand Room. 

No matter your age, there is a project for you! The projects that volunteers will be working on are: packaging 1,000 meals for Meals on Wheels, holiday cards/placemats for Senior Access, holiday cards for clients of Round Rock Area Serving Center, fleece rope dog toys for Williamson County Animal Shelter, fleece blankets for Hope Alliance and stress balls for RRISD Star Mentoring Program.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. following with projects at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided by Pizza Delight at 12 p.m.

This event will be open to the public, so bring your friends and family!
