Born in 1914, Priscilla Boyle celebrated 104 years of life on Thanksgiving.
She’s a hairdresser by trade, but a neighborhood activist by choice. She’s spent many years distributing love and kindness to others.
Thursday, Nov. 22, Priscilla’s family, friends, and caregivers gathered around to celebrate her life, and for the birthday girl, she had a message to share.
“Love one another,” said Priscilla. “Don't get yourself so big, until you don't have time to appreciate God and his children, and when I say his children, I mean all of us.”
She didn’t think she’d make it to see far beyond 90, but Priscilla is still here, still going strong while inspiring others to find the importance of life.
"So many people are here, but they are here for the wrong reasons,” she said.
From Priscilla: stop and think. Think about every day, and make them count. When you love one another, and keep God first, that’s when you’ll find her secret to a long life.
"Obedience. Obedience is the main thing that leads to a long life.”
