AUSTIN, Texas — KVUE wants to help “Keep Austin Local” by highlighting the local businesses, events and people that make Austin special.
On Wednesday, KVUE stopped by Antonelli’s Cheese Shop, a spot in Hyde Park owned by a husband and wife.
Antonelli’s opened in 2010 after John Antonelli announced to his wife, Kendall, on their honeymoon that he wanted to quit his job and “do something in cheese.” At their cheese house, they offer public tasting classes, private events and more.
The shop is known for its friendly and knowledgeable staff, who are determined to find the perfect cheese for your needs. The Antonelli’s Cheese Shop website says, “We believe in the power of hospitality and going above and beyond with our customer service.”
Not only do they allow customers to taste cheese, but the employees teach customers about what they are tasting.
Cheese isn’t the only thing available at Antonelli’s. It also offers products you would pair with your cheese, including wine, chocolate, meat and fish, nuts, fruits, breads, crackers, jams, honey and more.
Antonelli’s also offers cheese and charcuterie boards, gifts and bundles, curated tastings, classes and team building.
You can find Antonelli’s at 4220 Duval St. or online here.
