AUSTIN, Texas — Central Texans have seen many businesses shutting down because of the COVID-19 pandemic. KVUE wants to help "Keep Austin Local" by highlighting small businesses that might need a little help.
On Wednesday, KVUE stopped by Personally Yours, a business that has been around for 43 years.
The owner, Susan Parker, said the store had to close for a little while due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but they were glad to be supported by many loyal customers.
Parker said she started out by painting items for people, and the business just grew and grew.
Personally Yours features gifts for all occasions including baby showers, graduation, holidays, weddings and more. They also personalize items like backpacks, stationary and clutches.
In the children’s section, you can find hooded towels, backpacks, clothing, stuffed animals and more. There are also collegiate items, wedding invitations, clothing, home décor, and personalized wedding gifts like cutting boards and bridal books.
The outside of the store is currently under construction, but they are still open.
