AUSTIN, Texas — Co-working space and start-up incubator Capital Factory, which started in Austin, has announced its plan to expand its footprint across the state with a merger in Houston.
The company on Tuesday said it will partner with Station Houston to connect its mentor network to the Texas-wide network in Austin, Dallas-Forth Worth and San Antonio.
That includes a Houston mentor network Capital Factory has been developing with The Cannon.
In 2018, Capital Factory launched in Dallas, and last year it hired its first full-time employees in Houston, launching a partnership with The Cannon.
“It’s awesome to see them expanding their footprint in Houston,” Harvin Moore, president of Houston Exponential, said in a release. “It’s a win for Houston’s startups and for our booming ecosystem. Increasing bridges between Texas’s major tech ecosystems in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio has enormous synergistic value.”
