AUSTIN, Texas — In Central Texas, you can spend as a lot of time in your car and it can be pretty boring to see the same old interior every day.
What if there was a quick and easy way to lighten things up with a little help from your sound system?
We put the Megulla Underdash Lighting Kit to the test on Does It Work Wednesday.
The kit comes with a remote control, four light strips, a car charger and cable.
So what's all that supposed to do? Hopefully create a cool, colorful look inside your vehicle.
The directions say to first test the lights by plugging the sound box into the USB power supply.

Then it's time to install them.
Each strip has 3M tape on the back – all you do is stick each light strip underneath the dashboard, and in the back on both sides.
It only takes a couple of minutes, and the silicone-covered strips bend as well.
Once that's done, make sure the control box is near a speaker and use the remote to turn the system on.
Depending on what mode it's in, the lights can stay one color or pulse between eight colors.
The sound-activated mode has the lights respond to the beat of your sound system.
You can find the Magulla Underdash Lighting Lit on Amazon for about $24.
