AUSTIN, Texas — Popular Austin-based ice cream chain Amy's Ice Creams is opening a new location in Dripping Springs, according to a report from Community Impact.
Amy's CEO Alan Hixon said the location will be part of the Ledgestone East development off of Highway 290.
The development broke ground earlier this year, and it is expected to be complete by late 2023 or early 2024.
Amy’s is considered an iconic institution in Austin, established in 1984. The chain has 15 locations in the Austin-area, with another planned for Round Rock.
Amy's also has a location in Houston and one in San Antonio.
