AUSTIN, Texas — Apple's northwest Austin campus is reportedly going to get even bigger.
According to a report from Austonia, Apple recently filed new documents with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for three additional structures estimated to total $279 million. The new buildings are expected to be completed by February 2025.
Apple first announced the campus near Parmer Lane in December 2018. It is expected to be three million square feet with 12 office and amenity buildings, parking garages and other facilities, according to Austonia.
The reported additional structures include two multi-story buildings and a parking garage with enough room for 3,500 cars.
According to Austonia, Apple has said the initial phase of its campus could welcome 5,000 employees and might even reach 15,000 by the time it's completed.
